Me

Hello! My name is Aude pronounced "Ode".

​

I am currently a  French and Biology teacher in Page County, Virginia. I have 19 years of experience as a high school teacher at Luray High School. French is my first language. My degree is in Biology from Mary Baldwin University and I will be getting my MSEd with a focus in Anatomy and Physiology from Shenandoah University. In my spare time, my husband and I also run a farm.

French Learning Connections is here to assist parents and students in having an easily accessible resource to answer questions for learning French, by having one location that is geared towards middle and high school levels. Parents who want to help their children learn, but because they do not speak French, they cannot help their child when a problem arises at home. French Connections is a web site resource that can enrich classroom content geared towards middle and high school. A one-stop-shop for their needs. Our commitment is to provide an engaging, respectful, and rewarding learning environment.

Access information through media resources about significant French influences and people who contributed to other content areas.

Develop vocabulary and grammar skills in French. Improve the understanding of and ability to communicate in the English language by comparing and contrasting skills of French to English as relevant to the specific level of French. 

Develop an understanding of French culture; and its contribution to the world and how these contributions have shaped international perspectives.
